The 12 Steps provide a structured roadmap to help individuals achieve and maintain sobriety by addressing the psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of addiction. In this portion of the course, participants engage in deep self‑examination and personal growth work designed to support long‑term recovery.
Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) is a cognitive‑behavioral intervention designed to address the moral reasoning deficits and thinking patterns that contribute to criminal behavior and substance use. Its goal is to help individuals develop higher‑level moral reasoning, improve decision‑making, and adopt prosocial behaviors.

Each week, a peer—not a PM team member—will lead the support group. This is intentional. The purpose of the group is to create a space where participants can speak openly and honestly without feeling observed or evaluated by program staff.
The focus is on shared experiences, mutual encouragement, and building connections that support long‑term recovery. By keeping the group peer‑led, participants can explore topics, challenges, and successes in a way that feels safe, authentic, and genuinely supportive.
